Sarva Darshan is the free general darshan open to every devotee at Tirumala. There is nothing to buy — you join the queue in person, and waiting time changes with the crowd.

Getting there from Chennai

From Chennai, Tirupati is one of the closest major temple towns — frequent trains, buses and cabs (often around 3–3.5 hours by road). From Tirupati it is a short trip up to Tirumala.

Yes — Sarva Darshan is completely free. You join the common queue in person; waiting time depends on the crowd. For a shorter wait, the ₹300 Special Entry or Srivani options are booked online on the official TTD portal.
How long is the wait for free darshan at Tirumala?
It varies a lot with the day and season — from a few hours to much longer on peak days. We help you read the crowd and pick a calmer time; see the live status above.
